Over this summer, the new book #GIRLBOSS, has caught my attention. I recently picked it up to see what all the fuss was about. So far, I can truly say that I adore the book. This book was written by Sophia Amoruso. Sophia is the founder and CEO of Nasty Gal. Nasty Gal is an online clothing company that is worth $100-million-plus and is based in Los Angeles, California. In this book, Sophia discusses how she got from essentially nothing to creating her own company, all before the age of 30. She goes through her past experiences and how she became a #girlboss (and how can become a #girlboss too!).
I like how down to earth Sophia is, in her writing. She is humble and relatable. She teaches you what worked for her and her advice for you to be successful in your business. Personally, I am not thinking of starting a business any time soon but her advice can be used in any area of work. Or I may want to be involved with the business world later on in life. Two thumbs up!
