Oops. My first thought when I realized I completely forgot to photograph and write about my September Birchbox. This box is far too pretty to skip and better late than never, right? The theme of this box is to transition from summer to fall. Unfortunately, California says that summer is here to stay until at least November. On the bright side, that makes this box still appropriate to share.
Upon first glance inside my box, I was thrilled with the contents. I felt as though I received an array of products, particularly ones I might actually use. I have fallen for the Temptu Highlighter in Champagne Shimmer. I love a good highlighter year-round and this blends seamlessly into my skin to give me a nice glow. I was also delighted to find a Dr. Brandt Pores No More vacuum cleaner. Not only is the name cute but this brand continues to impress me every time I try a new product. Nothing gets me more excited than a blackhead extracting mask so this product is a win in my book. I was given a second skincare product: Skin and Co Sicilian Light Serum. This treatment contains vitamin C and thus, boosts collagen formation and helps with anti-aging. Although I am not ancient, I am becoming more intrigued with anti-aging products to help maintain my skin’s youthful appearance and minimize wrinkles. Davines Oi All in One Milk was the next product I spotted. This is a leave-in spray that claims to deliver volume, shine, detangling, and heat protection. I have not tried it but I am eager to use it soon. I also discovered a bonus item from this company in my box. I am not a fan of foil packets but I am curious about these shampoo and conditioner samples. They will probably make their way into my gym bag. Final product: Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Gold Couture Perfume. In all honesty, I am not a big fan of Juicy Couture perfumes (as a blanket statement). This is a new launch and has notes of wild berries, honeysuckle and warm caramel. I will give it a go in future but I am sticking to my favorite fall fragrances for the time being.
