Happy April! In fact today is April Fool’s Day (although none of these favorites are a joke!). It’s hard to believe that roughly a year ago I created my first monthly favorites video on YouTube. I had no idea what I was doing, I just knew that I loved watching these videos and I had some products to contribute. In the recent months, I have been alternating posting my favorites on my blog and my YouTube channel. Although I find these videos fun to film, I don’t always have a ton of favorite products (especially with my current beauty spending ban). As I only have a few items to throw into the mix this month, I found it fitting to share them here!
Tanya Burr Individual Lashes: I have never been a pro at applying false lashes but I desperately wanted to try something from Tanya Burr’s range. I opted for these individual lashes–an entirely foreign concept to me. After getting the hang of them, I much prefer them over a full set of false lashes. Use tweezers to apply a few to each eye. You’ll achieve more natural-looking, fuller eyelashes.
Milani Shadow Eyez in Champagne Toast: For those days when you want to put minimal effort into your eye look. I swipe this product across my eyelids for a bit of shimmer. Alternatively I will use this product as a base and apply an eyeshadow over top. My favorite combination is using Stila Kitten on top.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat in 2.5: At first I didn’t love this highlighting concealer. You must tap the base (several times) to dispense product, which can get a little messy. After using it for a while, I have fallen in love. I use this to counteract the dark circles under my eyes and as highlight along my nose and on my forehead.
Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick in Coral Sheen: Although this probably more of a summer blush, I have been reaching for it recently. To apply this, glide the blush stick across each cheek then simply blend the product in using your fingers. This gives you that summertime glow.
Target Statement Necklace: I spotted this necklace from across the store and knew I needed it in my life. I have been pairing it with oversized sweaters and basic tees. You can’t go wrong with a statement necklace in the spring.
What were your March favorites?
