This week has been filled with moments spent daydreaming about my upcoming trip to Mexico. Next week my friends and I are off to Puerto Vallarta for some serious relaxation. As someone who packs way too early, naturally my travel makeup bag is ready to go. I thought I’d share what I’m bringing along for this trip.
Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer: This is a classic product and the travel size is ideal for this trip. I always like to prime my face to create a barrier between my skin and makeup. I also want to make sure my makeup lays nicely on my skin for those special occasions (ahem my birthday is on the 22nd!).
Coola Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer: When trying to select a foundation for this trip, I stumbled upon this product in the back of my drawer. I had completely forgotten how much I’ve adored this product in summers past. This moisturizer is great because it contains an SPF of 20 and it is rose scented. I don’t want or need full coverage on this trip so I’m opting for this product to even out my complexion.
Maybelline Age Rewind: My go-to under eye concealer is a staple in makeup bag, regardless of where I am.
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: A dupe of the NARS Creamy Concealer. I’m trying to use this concealer before moving. What better time than on vacation?
e.l.f. Translucent Mattifying Powder: While dealing with the heat and humidity, I may need a little powder to help me out. I love that this product comes with a mirror–I always bring one item with a mirror when traveling.
Coastal Scents Palette in Latte: Don’t you love eyeshadow samples? This Ipsy sample is ideal because I can use these four shades throughout my trip to go from a subtle look to a smokey eye.
Benefit Gimme Brow: My one-stop-shop product for my brows.
Tarte Lights Camera Flashes Mascara: Lengthening, non-clumping, waterproof…need I say more?
Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Stick in Coral Sceen: Perfect coral for that transition into summer and I don’t need a brush. Score.
