New York has slowly been transitioning into spring and everyone is loving it. I wore a sundress for the first time in months last week and realized my pale legs were probably blinding people so I took action. I haven’t used self-tanner since last summer and was fortunate enough to be a sent a tanner that recently launched in the U.S.
Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Tan Original Mousse was created by Irish entrepreneur, Marissa Carter, in 2012. After much success, the product was brought to the United States this past fall. The mousse varies in color, depending on how long you leave the product on before showering. One hour will produce a light glow, two hours will produce a medium glow, and three hours will produce a dark glow.
I applied this product before bed, gave it ample time to dry and left the product on over night. I noticed an immediate change in my skin tone after applying the mousse. After an hour the results were quite subtle and I went to bed.
The next morning I noticed a significant change in my color yet my glow was still natural.

I was very impressed with the product–the only imperfections were of my own doing [forgetting to do my feet–it’s been a while since I’ve tanned & applying too much around my knees–again it’s been a while!]. Overall I highly recommend this product. It is easy to apply, works quickly, and looks natural. I recommend applying this product with a mitt; after using the mitt, I rinsed it and cleaned it with baby soap [what I use to clean my makeup brushes] and it was as good as new. The tan lasts around five days and is a steal at $13.99!
Have you tried this product? If so, what are your thoughts?
Thank you, Cocoa Brown, for sending me this product to test out!
