Before I made my way west for the holidays, I endured some cold weather in New York. On a wim, Joe and I snapped some photos to show you what I actually wear when the weather is freezing.
Generally on chilly days, I wear my new winter coat [which is currently on sale!] with a sweater underneath. I need to keep my neck warm so I find wool or knit scarves are the best option. This scarf would be a great choice.
I recently picked up these earmuffs and they’ve made a huge difference in keeping me warm. I was already a big fan of UGG and these were an excellent addition to my accessories!
Finally: socks. In cold weather, I go for these Wigwam socks or these L.L.Bean camp socks. Both options keep my feet warm, even if the socks get wet from rain or snow.
As a California transplant, who is only experiencing her second winter, I’m aware that I don’t know everything about cold weather clothing. BUT I do hope this is helpful if you are traveling to a colder climate this winter.
