2019 has been a whirlwind, in the best possible way. This year has been infinitely different from 2018! After moving across the country and moving into a new apartment in San Jose, which was a lot of change, we spent most of this year in that apartment and really liked it. Joe started a new job when we moved back to California and has been enjoying it since. I started a new role in February and love it.
Joe and I explored San Jose, different parts of California and hopped on some planes. We shared some amazing memories and they will last us a lifetime. Excitingly, we closed out the year with buying our first home, which was an adventure in and of itself. On November 12th, we closed on our house and moved in the weekend after. We needed that push to get most of the boxes unpacked. We decided to host Thanksgiving and a cookie exchange housewarming before Christmas. I think the cookie exchange will be our new annual tradition. After a fantastic year, I’m excited and nervous for a new year and new decade!

TRAVEL
We got to do some amazing traveling in 2019! I had some lovely weekend getaways, including Lake Tahoe, Disneyland (also around Christmas), Carmel (vlog here, hotel review), San Diego (vlog here), San Luis Obispo (hotel review), and Apple Hill. Followed by an incredible ten day trip to Thailand (video coming soon! Bangkok & Phuket guides are up). I made three trips back to New York, including a festive holiday trip (here is my updated Christmas travel guide) and stopped by Boston.
What’s Coming Up In 2020?
I’m really looking forward to settling into our first house – I’ll definitely be sharing organization tips and room tours on YouTube. We have some more traveling coming up (I just booked a trip for my 30th birthday in May!). Life seems to move at a mile a minute. If you want to keep up-to-date, please follow my Instagram.
