This might be my favorite gift guide I ever created. I'm a big fan of traveling and passionate about making my trips the most comfortable. Through the years, I've found some of the best products to make travel more enjoyable. From keeping your suitcase organized to packing the best snacks, I've got you covered. These travel gift ideas are perfect for anyone in your life who loves to getaway. You may even want to add some of these to your Christmas wish list. I hope you enjoy!
Unique Travel Gift Ideas
After returning from my recent New York City trip, I couldn't be more thrilled to own a tech organizer. I just ordered this one for Joe for Christmas. I know he is going to get a lot of use out of it and it will make life easier on future travels! It's also currently 25% with the code TRAVEL25.
Travel Packing Cubes
Sticking with the organization theme, I had to include packing cubes. I don't know where I'd be without them! This is the set of packing cubes I currently own and use. To be honest, I bought these because I wanted a neutral *aesthetic* but they also come with a lot of size options too! I also own this matching one that is specifically for shoes. It's so nice to keep your dirty shoes separate from the rest of your belongings.
Luggage Scale
If you pick up anything from this travel gift ideas guide, let it be this luggage scale. This gift really packs a punch. It's inexpensive, lightweight and compact. It weighs up to 110 lbs and can used in lb, kg, oz, or g. Also, it makes a great stocking stuffer! In fact, I got this for Joe's stocking last year. We've used it several times this year and I've found it to be very accurate. It's also saved me from overweight luggage on multiple occasions.
Rechargeable Book Reading Light
This gift is another practical option. I recently picked up this rechargeable book light and find it to be really useful. It has multiple settings, is quite flexible and doesn't require any additional cables for charging (it's USB and can be plugged in directly). The listing says it lasts for 8 hours on the brightest setting. I haven't tested it that long without charging so I can't confirm that, however, I will say it's worked well for me so far.
Excursion Waistbag
This waistbag is something I picked up over the summer and was afraid I'd never use. Wow, was I wrong. I use this almost everyday! Not only is it fantastic for travel but it's excellent for walks, errands, or just about any time you need to leave your house. This bag is size friendly and excellent for tall people. It fits me comfortably crossbody and around my waist. It fits a lot more than I expected and has multiple pockets. This gift is not only great for travelers but probably anyone on your list.
Travel Pill Organizer
If you're anything like me, you like to travel with medicine and supplements for any possible scenario. This is especially true when I'm traveling to a foreign country and don't want to struggle at pharmacy with the stomach flu or a headache. This pill organizer is incredibly slim and has 8 different compartments. For the size, it genuinely fits a lot of pills in each compartment. The listing comes with three pill organizes and is inexpensive. You could easily split this up (and keep one for yourself!). This would also make a great stocking stuff.
Water Resistant Toiletry Bag
We love a good toiletry bag for travel. This is the one I got for Joe a few Christmases ago and he still uses it all the time. It's durable, spacious and has multiple compartments. I have a clear toiletry bag (similar option) I got from my mother in law a few Christmases ago; I like being able to see everything inside my mine!
Stackable Snack Containers
Are these stackable snack containers technically for children? Yes, they are. Am I obsessed with them? Also, yes. I love that you can break these up on a trip. They have a tight seal. They also fit great in a water bottle holder on a backpack or in a cup holder. My favorite way of using this: I make my own charcuterie board. I like to do almonds, cheese, pretzels/crackers and chocolate covered raisins. All things that travel well and won't go bad quickly.
Makeup Sponge Holder
I purchased this sponge holder over the summer and I'm already a big fan. It works for a variety of size sponges and allows for ventilation during travel. You could even pair this with a BeautyBlender or my new favorite (and affordable!) Paw Paw Sponges.
