I’m pulling out all the stops for this one. In times like these, we need some tried and true recipes. These are some of my absolute favorites. I know these will always turn out well. I’ve also been pinning up a storm so visit me for more recipe inspo. I hope you enjoy my favorite recipes!
The Easiest & Best Waffles
You need to check out Maddy’s waffle recipe. I came to her blog for the fashion but also found some great recipes (I still want to try her chocolate chip cookie recipe). I’ve only made this recipe as waffles and couldn’t recommend them enough. I like them plain topped with jam (my homemade strawberry jam) or filled with chocolate chips. I’m tempted to make savory waffles too by adding cheese and bacon and topping with a poached egg – stayed tuned for that!
Go To Make Ahead Breakfast
Overnight oats is one of my favorite breakfasts to prep. This recipe is really delicious and filling. I like to use maple syrup as the sweetener and I add a couple tablespoons of peanut butter too. I did a post last year on some of my favorite breakfast ideas – check it out if you want some more recipes.
Best Meat Sauce
Easy? Check! Hearty? Check! Full of flavor? Check! This meat sauce is perfect and so simple to make. Fresh garlic and basil make a world of difference in making this sauce incredible.
Crockpot Tacos
This is one of the simplest yet most flavorful recipes. You throw the ingredients in the crockpot in the morning and have the perfect tacos in the evening. This is a good staple recipe, especially if you’re busy with kids all day.
The Worst Best Chocolate Chip Cookies
Don’t be fooled – these cookies are only the “worst” because the dough needs to chill before baking. It’s worth the wait, I promise. I got this recipe from a coworker who says she always keeps this dough in her freezer. Cookies at the ready seems like a good plan to me.
Rice Krispie Treats Got An Upgrade
Let’s be honest: everyone enjoys making and eating rice krispy treats. But what if I told you there’s a better version of this classic? Meet salted brown butter rice krispies. Yep. No explanation necessary.
Admittedly Joe and I also make some really basic recipes for quick and easy dinners. I’m happy to share a week of dinners. Would that be helpful? Leave me a comment to let me know!
